Welcome to the Naturparkwirt at Gasthof Zur Traube in Eisental near Bühl.

As hosts of the Black Forest Nature Park Central/North, we and our team at Gasthof Zur Traube offer you seasonal, fresh Baden country cuisine, as well as lovingly selected beers and wines.

We place particular emphasis on fresh, locally sourced products. We want to support regional suppliers and operate in a sustainable and ecological manner. In September 2020, we were awarded two lions by ‘Schmeckt den Süden’ (Taste the South) for this. As a result, we were accepted into the Association of Nature Park Hosts Black Forest Central/North.

In June 2022, we were awarded by the ‘Haus der Badischen-Württemberger Weine’ (House of Baden-Württemberg Wines) for our regional offerings, among other things. ‘Schmeck den Süden’ awarded us three lions in September because 90% of the ingredients in our dishes come from Baden-Württemberg. We take special care to ensure that the ingredients for our dishes come from the Black Forest cultural landscape. The motto ‘Taste the Black Forest’ is taken literally at Gasthof Zur Traube!

Our culinary philosophy

Baden is a region for connoisseurs. Authentic products such as Baden wine are the treasures of the region and are always in season. Nevertheless, it is usually the season that determines which dishes are served at the Traube. For example, freshly caught fish during Lent or asparagus in all variations in May, new potatoes at the start of summer and game in the pots and pans in autumn. From Wiener schnitzel to Sunday roast, the Traube offers everything you would expect from a well-run restaurant throughout the year.

Our goal is to serve traditional Baden cuisine, and it is important to us that all dishes are freshly prepared.
