The Gasthof zur Traube in idyllic Eisental is located directly on the Baden Wine Route, the Ortenau Wine Trail and the Baden Wine Cycle Route. The Wagner family, who run the nature park inn, welcome locals and travellers alike to eat, celebrate or stay overnight. With its personal, family-friendly service, hospitality has been a tradition at the Gasthof zur Traube for over 200 years.

Enjoy the rare hospitality of the rustic inn. As a member of the Black Forest Central/North Nature Park Innkeepers' Association, we offer you seasonal, fresh Baden country cuisine, as well as lovingly selected beers and wines. We take special care to ensure that the ingredients for our dishes and our selection of drinks come from the Black Forest cultural landscape. In this way, we want to support regional suppliers and operate in a sustainable and ecological manner.

Travel to a little paradise and visit us in Eisental in the Ortenau region of Baden. This tiny region, only 30 kilometres wide and 60 kilometres long, boasts magnificent scenery: rolling vineyards with vast wine-growing areas, the flat Rhine valley with its extensive floodplain forests, and the Black Forest with its deep valleys and high mountains.

The wine-growing community of Eisental has long been known for its warm hospitality and excellent restaurants. Holidaymakers can leave the stresses of everyday life behind, go hiking or cycling, or simply enjoy a wonderful time. Business travellers also love to stay at the Gasthof Zur Traube.

Since 12 October 2022, we have been officially awarded the three lions by the state of Baden-Württemberg, which is a great honour for us. This award was given to us in particular because 90% of the ingredients in our dishes come from Baden-Württemberg. Further information here...
